Kyoto University Summer Design School is intensive three-day design workshop.

This is the fourth year since this annual event started in 2011. It will be the second Summer Design School after the launch of our Kyoto University Collaborative Graduate Program in Design.

The word “design” here does not only mean product design and graphic design; it also includes the design of social system and architecture. In the workshop, participants from different area of expertise and facilitators form a team for each theme and challenge a variety of actual social problems.

JR San-in line (Sagano line)
Take a local train (which stops at every station) and get off at the first stop, Tambaguchi Station (4 minutes, 140 JPY). 4 minutes to walk from the station to Kyoto Research Park.
