Overview
The proposed workshop deals with probably one of the most important anthropological topic: beauty. All cultures have had to deal with this great topic, and all cultures have developed their own methods of implementation, interpretation, language.
The workshop aims to explore the topic and think about a design tool-kit to manage beauty in different cultures.
The design output can be of different nature: an object, an image, video, a digital interaction .... Starting from cultural references (and differences) and going torward more universal and deep anthropological issues.
Educational Goals
The workshop has the educational objective of exploring the anthropological dimension of the project. Facing an ever more flexible and potentially invasive technology, anthropological dynamics emerge indeed as the main tools for a highly evolved project.
